EXPLORE & BE PART OF THE CHANGE

Youth-in-Agriculture

Agriculture and Agroecology Programs

Agriculture remains the largest employer across the COMESA and SADC regions and a critical sector for poverty reduction and food security. However, traditional farming practices often result in low productivity and environmental degradation. FOYA College’s agriculture programs, refined through pilot implementation and continuous improvement, offer proven approaches to empowering youth with modern, sustainable techniques that increase yields, enhance resilience to climate change, and create profitable farming enterprises. The success of these programs in Zambia provides a blueprint for agricultural skills development across the region

FOYA Automotive Mechanics

Automotive Mechanics Programs

Expanding vehicle populations across the COMESA and SADC regions create consistent demand for skilled automotive technicians. FOYA College’s automotive programs bridge the gap between informal apprenticeship and formal competency, offering a tested model for upgrading mechanics’ skills across the region. The Centre of Excellence designation ensures that graduates meet international quality standards, making them valuable to employers and successful as entrepreneurs.
